Chocolate Silk Pie

If you like fudge, pie and chocolate you are going to love this one!  Chocolate Silk Pie is rich and decadent and looks way more difficult to make than it is.

Chocolate Silk Pie

1 - 9 inch pie crust, baked and cooled

7 ounces marshmallow fluff
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 Tbsp strong coffee
1 cup heavy whipping cream- beat stiff

topping
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 Tbsp powdered sugar
chocolate curls

Over low heat in a heavy saucepan, melt marshmallow fluff, chocolate chips, chocolate, butter and coffee.  Stir frequently until smooth and melted.  Cool.  Once cooled, fold in heavy whipping cream.  Pour into cool crust.  Beat 1 cup whipping cream with powdered sugar until stiff and spread on chocolate filling.  Top with chocolate curls.  Refrigerate 3 hours before serving.
